井底之蛙 The Frog in the Well

从前有一只小青蛙。 Once there was a little frog.

它住在一口很深的井里。 It lived in a very deep well.

天只有井口那么大。 The sky was only as big as the well mouth.

它以为这就是整个世界。 It thought that was the whole world.

有一天，一只海龟走到井边。 One day, a sea turtle walked to the well.

青蛙说：我这里最好玩。 The frog said: My place is the most fun.

海龟说：大海一眼望不到边。 The turtle said: You cannot see the end of the sea.

它比你的井大得多。 It is much bigger than your well.

见得少，就以为世界很小。 When you have seen little, you think the world is small.

没去过别处，就说自己家最好。 If you have not been elsewhere, you say your home is the best.
