When you finish a job, don't just stand and wait. Tell your boss: "I finished. What should I do next?" What if the boss isn't around? Then go find them, or find something useful to do.

Cuando terminen algo, no se queden esperando. Díganle al jefe: «Ya terminé. ¿Qué hago ahora?». ¿Y si el jefe no está? Entonces vayan a buscarlo, o busquen algo útil que hacer.

Good to know: when you finish a task, don't stand and wait, and don't take out your phone. Tell your boss: "I finished. What should I do next?" or "Is there anything else?" Bosses remember the people who ask. When there are extra hours, a promotion, or a raise, they often think of them first.
