Good to know: if you can't make it, call early to reschedule. Many clinics ask for at least one day's notice, and some charge a fee if you're late. Say: "I need to reschedule my appointment." When you call, give the name, date of birth, and the original time. Pick a new time, repeat it back, and ask for a text to confirm.

Dato útil: si no puede ir, llame con tiempo para cambiar la cita. Muchas clínicas piden por lo menos un día de aviso, y algunas cobran si avisa tarde. Diga: «I need to reschedule my appointment».
