COW I am a yellow cow. Because the midday sun is strong, I like to stay under the tree. When evening turns cool, I finish eating the fresh grass.

VACA Soy una vaca amarilla. Como el sol del mediodía es fuerte, me gusta quedarme bajo el árbol. Cuando refresca al atardecer, termino de comer la hierba fresca.

DOG I am a blue dog. Every morning I run in the yard because I love running. At night I hide my bone under the tree and eat it after daybreak.

PERRO Soy un perro azul. Todas las mañanas corro en el patio porque me encanta correr. Por la noche escondo mi hueso bajo el árbol y me lo como al amanecer.

LITTLE GOAT I am a little goat. Although there is not much grass on the mountain, I climb up to eat every day. My horn bumped a rock, but it does not hurt.

CABRITA Soy una cabrita. Aunque no hay mucha hierba en la montaña, subo a comer todos los días. Mi cuerno chocó con una piedra, pero no me duele.

RABBIT I am a pink rabbit. Because my ears are long, I can hear even sounds from far away. I ate many vegetables from the vegetable garden, and my belly is nice and round.

CONEJO Soy un conejo rosa. Como mis orejas son largas, puedo oír hasta los sonidos lejanos. Comí muchas verduras del huerto y tengo la barriga bien redonda.

MONKEY I am a monkey. Although the tree is tall, I climb up in just a few quick moves. I hold a banana in my hand and sit in the tree eating it slowly.

MONO Soy un mono. Aunque el árbol es alto, subo con unos pocos movimientos rápidos. Sostengo un plátano en la mano y me siento en el árbol para comerlo despacio.

HORSE I am a brown horse. Because my legs are long and strong, I run even faster than the wind. In the morning I am taken to the meadow, and I jump for joy.

CABALLO Soy un caballo marrón. Como mis patas son largas y fuertes, corro más rápido que el viento. Por la mañana me llevan al prado y salto de alegría.

TIGER I am an orange tiger. Although I look fierce, I often sleep during the day. I hide my body in the grass so no one can see my stripes.

PIG I am a pink pig. Because the mud is cool, I always roll around in it at noon. After eating vegetables, I fill my belly until it is round and then take a nap.

LITTLE CHICK I am a yellow chick. Although I am small, every day I follow my mother to look for bugs to eat. I found a little worm and happily ate it up.

POLLITO Soy un pollito amarillo. Aunque soy pequeño, todos los días sigo a mi mamá para buscar insectos. Encontré un gusanito y me lo comí muy contento.
