Wind · El viento

1

The Red Umbrella Girl asks: what does wind look like?

2

Wind cannot be seen. But when it comes, the bamboo bows.

El viento no se ve. Pero cuando llega, el bambú se inclina.

3

The wind blows her braids up, and flips her red umbrella inside out!

4

Where does wind come from? The sun warms the ground, and the warm air floats upward.

¿De dónde viene el viento? El sol calienta el suelo y el aire caliente sube.

5

Cool air rushes over at once to fill the space. Air running back and forth like this is wind.

6

A light breeze drifts gently over the rice field, and the golden ears of rice nod, rustling softly.

7

A strong wind comes, and leaves fly all over the sky. She has to hold her umbrella with both hands so she is not blown away.

8

Wind helps out, too. It carries kites into the sky and dries wet clothes.

9

The wind stops, and the bamboo stands straight again. The kite drifts slowly down.

10

You cannot see wind, but you can find it. Where did you see the wind today?
