Wáng Lì: The lab is on the first floor. Let's take the elevator down. Me: OK. Do we have to wait in line for the blood test? Wáng Lì: Yes — first we get a number.

Wáng Lì: El laboratorio está en el primer piso. Bajemos en el elevador. Yo: Bueno. ¿Hay que hacer fila para el análisis? Wáng Lì: Sí, primero sacamos un número.

Me: Hello, I need a blood test. Here's the lab form. Nurse: You're number 23. Please have a seat and wait.

Good to know: in Chinese hospitals, you can often print your blood test results at a self-service machine, or see them on your phone. After a blood draw, press a cotton swab on the spot for a few minutes.

Dato útil: en los hospitales de China, muchas veces puedes imprimir los resultados del análisis en una máquina de autoservicio o verlos en el celular. Después de la toma de sangre, hay que presionar con un algodón unos minutos.
