Where Should I Put It?

¿Dónde lo pongo?

2

At a new job, if you don't know where something goes, ask: "Where should I put…?" The answer is usually: on, in, under, or next to. Right! Listen for those words, and you won't put things in the wrong place.

¡Exacto! Pongan atención a esas palabras y no se van a equivocar.

3

Where should I put this case of milk? In the walk-in fridge, on the bottom shelf.

4

Where should I put the clean towels? On top of the cart. Dirty ones go in the bag underneath.

5

Where should I put this ladder? In the tool shed. Hang it on the wall.

¿Dónde pongo esta escalera? En la bodega de herramientas. Cuélgala en la pared.

6

Where should I put this damaged box? On the red shelf next to the door. I'll look at it later.

7

Where should I put the branches I cut? In the green bin.

¿Dónde pongo las ramas que corté? En el bote verde.

8

Where should I put this new medicine? Next to her pill box, where she'll see it every morning. Next to the pill box. Okay.

9

Where should I put these pumpkins? By the entrance, so everyone sees them as they walk in.

10

Good to know: the words you'll hear most on your first day: on, in, under, next to, behind. Things in the wrong place can spoil, get lost, or even hurt someone. If you don't know, ask.

Si no sabe, pregunte.
