When something runs out, tell your boss right away: "We're out of… We need more." Should we say it when it's almost gone, too? Yes! "We're almost out of…" — the earlier, the better.

Cuando algo se acabe, avísenle al jefe enseguida: «Ya no hay… Necesitamos más». ¿También hay que decirlo cuando ya casi se acaba? ¡Sí! «Ya casi no hay…»: entre más pronto, mejor.

We're out of gloves. We need more. There's another box in the office. Go grab it.

Good to know: speak up when something is almost gone: "We're almost out of…" Don't wait until it's all gone. Many workplaces have a list for writing down what's running out. Safety gear like gloves and masks must be provided by your employer for free.
