今天晚上学校开返校之夜。家长去看教室，见老师。

Tonight is Back-to-School Night. Parents visit the classroom and meet the teacher.

Hoy en la noche es el regreso a clases. Los papás visitan el salón y conocen a la maestra.

妈妈，我在桌子上给你留了一个惊喜！

Mom, I left a surprise for you on my desk!

A little. I'm afraid I won't understand.

Un poco. Tengo miedo de no entender.

听不懂就问。我也常常问。

If you don't understand, just ask. I ask all the time.

Si no entiendes, pregunta. Yo pregunto todo el tiempo.

这是 Diego 的桌子。椅子好小啊！

This is Diego's desk. The chair is so tiny!

Este es el escritorio de Diego. ¡La silla es tan chiquita!

我们都坐不下！

每天晚上，请跟孩子一起读二十分钟的书。

Every night, please read with your child for twenty minutes.

作业星期一发，星期五交。

Homework goes home on Monday and comes back on Friday.

小知识：返校之夜一般在开学后几个星期，是认识老师、了解学校规定的好机会。很多学校还有开放日和家长会。

Good to know: Back-to-School Night is usually a few weeks after school starts. It's a good chance to meet the teacher and learn the school rules. Many schools also have an Open House and parent-teacher conferences.
