星期天，去奶奶家。

On Sunday we go to Grandma's.

Grandma has an old lantern with a candle inside.

The thermos has flowers printed on it.

Pull out the cork and white steam comes up.

奶奶看东西，要戴老花镜。

Grandma puts on her reading glasses to look at things.

La abuela se pone los lentes para ver.

镜片厚厚的，把字变大。

The thick lenses make everything bigger.

Los cristales gruesos agrandan todo.

棋子是木头的，摸上去滑滑的。

The chess pieces are wooden and smooth to touch.

奶奶下棋很慢，想很久才走一步。

Grandma plays slowly, thinking a long time before each move.

蒲扇一摇，风就来了。

One wave of the palm-leaf fan and the breeze comes.

不用电，也不响。

No electricity, no noise.

There are sweets in the glass jar.

Grandma opens it and grabs a handful for me.

Grandma made the cloth shoes herself.

穿上去软软的，一点也不挤脚。

They are soft and do not pinch at all.

Son blandos y no aprietan nada.

奶奶家的东西都很旧。

Everything at Grandma's is old.
