我：王丽，我发烧了，三十八度五，头很疼。

Me: Wáng Lì, I have a fever — 38.5 degrees — and a bad headache.

Yo: Wáng Lì, tengo fiebre, 38.5 grados, y me duele mucho la cabeza.

王丽：你别着急，我陪你去医院。

Wáng Lì: Don't worry — I'll go to the hospital with you.

Wáng Lì: No te preocupes, te acompaño al hospital.

王丽：医院人很多，我们先挂号。

Wáng Lì: The hospital is busy — let's register first.

Wáng Lì: Hay mucha gente en el hospital; primero hay que sacar ficha.

我：在哪儿挂号？

Me: Where do we register?

Yo: ¿Dónde se saca la ficha?

王丽：在手机上就能挂号。

Wáng Lì: You can register right on your phone.

Wáng Lì: Se puede sacar desde el celular.

王丽：你哪里不舒服？

Wáng Lì: Where do you feel unwell?

Wáng Lì: ¿Qué te duele?

我：发烧、头疼，嗓子也疼。

Me: A fever, a headache, and a sore throat too.

Yo: Fiebre, dolor de cabeza y también de garganta.

王丽：那我们挂内科。

Wáng Lì: Then we'll register for internal medicine.

Wáng Lì: Entonces sacamos ficha para medicina interna.

我：您好，请问内科在几楼？

Me: Hello — which floor is internal medicine on?

Yo: Buenos días, ¿en qué piso está medicina interna?

护士：内科在二楼。先量一下体温吧。

Nurse: Internal medicine is on the second floor. Let's take your temperature first.

Enfermera: Medicina interna está en el segundo piso. Primero le tomo la temperatura.

护士：三十八度六。你先去二楼等着，叫到你的号就进去。

Nurse: 38.6. Go wait on the second floor — when your number is called, go in.

Enfermera: 38.6. Espere en el segundo piso; cuando llamen su número, pase.

我：好的，叫到我的号就进去。谢谢！

Me: OK — go in when my number is called. Thank you!

Yo: Bien, paso cuando llamen mi número. ¡Gracias!

王丽：你是二十六号，现在叫到二十一号了。

Wáng Lì: You're number 26, and they're on number 21 now.

Wáng Lì: Tú eres el 26 y ahora van en el 21.

我：还要等多久？

Me: How much longer do we have to wait?

Yo: ¿Cuánto falta?

王丽：大概二十分钟。

Wáng Lì: About twenty minutes.

Wáng Lì: Unos veinte minutos.

王丽：先喝点儿热水。

Wáng Lì: Have some hot water first.

Wáng Lì: Toma un poco de agua caliente.

我：谢谢你陪我来医院。

Me: Thank you for coming to the hospital with me.

Yo: Gracias por acompañarme al hospital.

王丽：朋友嘛，别客气！

Wáng Lì: That's what friends are for!

Wáng Lì: ¡Para eso están los amigos!

广播：请二十六号，到三号诊室就诊。

Announcement: Number 26, please go to consulting room 3.

Altavoz: Número 26, pase al consultorio 3, por favor.

王丽：到你了！快去吧，我在这儿等你。

Wáng Lì: It's your turn! Go on — I'll wait for you here.

Wáng Lì: ¡Te toca! Ve, aquí te espero.

小知识：在中国看病，先要「挂号」。可以在手机上挂号，也可以在医院的窗口挂号。

Good to know: in China, you first have to "guàhào" — register for a doctor. You can do it on your phone or at the hospital window.

Dato útil: en China, para ver al médico primero hay que «guàhào», sacar ficha. Se puede hacer desde el celular o en la ventanilla del hospital.

发烧、咳嗽挂「内科」，受伤了挂「外科」。

For a fever or cough, register for internal medicine; for an injury, register for surgery.

Para fiebre o tos, se saca ficha en medicina interna; para una herida, en cirugía.
