Don't open the fridge. With the door closed, the fridge stays cold for four hours, and the freezer for two days.

María，我家好冷。我想把烤炉拿进屋里取暖。

María, my place is so cold. I want to bring my grill inside to keep warm.

小知识：停电的时候，用手电筒，不要点蜡烛。冰箱门关好，冰箱能冷四个小时，装满的冰柜能冷两天。看到掉下来的电线，不要靠近，马上打911。

Good to know: when the power goes out, use flashlights, not candles. Keep the fridge closed: it stays cold for about four hours, and a full freezer for about two days. If you see a fallen power line, stay away and call 911.

Never use a generator, a grill, or charcoal inside your home or garage. Keep a generator outside, far from windows. Put a carbon monoxide alarm in your home. If you feel dizzy, sick, or very sleepy, get outside right away and call 911.
