呼吸正常，能喝水，脖子不硬。可是他说耳朵疼。

He's breathing normally, he can drink, and his neck isn't stiff. But he says his ear hurts.

Respira bien, puede tomar agua y no tiene el cuello rígido. Pero dice que le duele el oído.

不用去急诊室。附近的紧急门诊开到半夜十二点，你可以带他去那里。

He doesn't need the emergency room. The urgent care nearby is open until midnight. You can take him there.

No necesita ir a la sala de emergencias. La clínica de atención urgente de cerca abre hasta la medianoche. Puede llevarlo ahí.

如果他呼吸困难，或者叫不醒，马上打911。

If he has trouble breathing, or you can't wake him up, call 911 right away.

Si le cuesta respirar o no lo puede despertar, llame al 911 enseguida.

他的耳朵发炎了。

He has an ear infection.

Tiene una infección en el oído.

严重吗？

Is it serious?

¿Es grave?

不严重。吃十天抗生素就会好。

It's not serious. Ten days of antibiotics, and he'll be fine.

退烧药要按他的体重吃。不要给小孩吃阿司匹林。

小知识：急诊室是给很严重的情况：呼吸困难、抽筋、叫不醒、脖子硬、受了重伤。耳朵疼、感冒、小伤口，可以去紧急门诊，等的时间短，也便宜很多。

Good to know: the emergency room is for serious problems — trouble breathing, a seizure, someone you can't wake up, a stiff neck, a bad injury. For an earache, a cold, or a small cut, go to urgent care: the wait is shorter, and it costs much less.

Dato útil: la sala de emergencias es para casos graves: si le cuesta respirar, tiene convulsiones, no se despierta, tiene el cuello rígido o una herida grave. Para un dolor de oído, un resfriado o una cortada pequeña, vaya a atención urgente: se espera menos y cuesta mucho menos.

Many insurance cards have a 24-hour nurse line on the back. If you don't know where to go at night, call and ask a nurse first.
