骗子会装成孙子、孙女打电话，哭着说出事了，要你马上给现金或者礼品卡，还说“不要告诉我爸妈”。有时候还有一个“律师”或者“警察”跟你说话。

Scammers pretend to be a grandchild. They cry, say they're in trouble, ask for cash or gift cards right away, and say "don't tell my parents." Sometimes a "lawyer" or "police officer" gets on the phone too.

Los estafadores se hacen pasar por un nieto o una nieta. Lloran, dicen que tienen un problema, piden efectivo o tarjetas de regalo enseguida y dicen "no les digas a mis papás". A veces también habla un "abogado" o un "policía".

接到这样的电话：先挂掉，打孩子自己的号码问一问；跟家人定一个暗号；千万不要把现金交给来拿钱的人。可以报警，也可以上 ReportFraud.ftc.gov 报告。

If you get a call like this: hang up first and call the grandchild at their own number; set a code word with your family; never hand cash to someone who comes to pick it up. You can call the police, or report it at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
