La Niña del Paraguas Rojo pregunta: ¿de dónde viene la niebla?

早上起来，外面白茫茫的一片。

In the morning, everything outside is a white blur.

Por la mañana, afuera todo es blanco.

远处的山不见了，村子也不见了。

The faraway hills are gone, and so is the village.

Los montes lejanos desaparecieron, y el pueblo también.

红伞女孩走进雾里，

The Red Umbrella Girl walks into the fog,

La Niña del Paraguas Rojo entra en la niebla

连前面的小桥都看不清了。

and she cannot even see the little bridge ahead.

y ya no ve bien ni el puentecito de delante.

雾是什么呢？

What is fog?

¿Qué es la niebla?

雾就是落到地上的云。

Fog is a cloud that has come down to the ground.

La niebla es una nube que bajó al suelo.

夜里，地面变冷了。

At night the ground grows cold.

De noche, el suelo se enfría.

空气里的水汽变成了很小很小的水珠，飘在半空中。

The water vapour in the air turns into tiny droplets that float in mid-air.

El vapor del aire se vuelve gotitas diminutas que flotan en el aire.

因为这些小水珠太多了，把光都挡住了，

Because there are so many droplets, they block the light,

Como hay tantas gotitas, tapan la luz,

所以我们看不远。

so we cannot see far.

así que no vemos lejos.

她伸出手，什么也抓不到。

She reaches out but catches nothing.

Estira la mano y no atrapa nada.

可是她的头发和睫毛都湿湿的。

But her hair and eyelashes are damp.

Pero su pelo y sus pestañas están húmedos.

太阳出来了，把小水珠一点一点地晒干。

The sun comes out and dries the droplets bit by bit.

Sale el sol y seca las gotitas poco a poco.

雾慢慢地散了。

The fog slowly lifts.

La niebla se va despacio.

山出来了，村子出来了，

The hills come back, the village comes back,

Aparecen los montes, aparece el pueblo,

小桥也出来了。

and the little bridge comes back too.

y aparece también el puentecito.

雾来的时候，世界变得安安静静的。

When fog comes, the world turns very quiet.

Cuando llega la niebla, el mundo se queda muy callado.
